# Correct an answer

Fix a wrong answer from the conversation itself. Your correction becomes knowledge that outranks your website.

If Dazza gets something wrong, fix it where you found it.

## From the inbox

Admins see **Correct this answer** under Dazza’s replies in a conversation. Write what Dazza should have said and save.

## From the preview

In **Agent**, each reply in the preview has **Correct this**, so you can fix answers while you test.

## What happens

Your correction is saved as your own question and answer, using the customer’s question and your wording. From the next message on:

- Dazza uses your answer for that question and ones like it.
- Your answer wins over any web page or file that says otherwise.
- It shows in **Knowledge** like any Q&A, so you can edit or remove it later.

## If the website is the problem

If a page on your site is out of date, update the page too, then read it again in **Knowledge**. Your correction keeps customers right in the meantime.
