# Connect Messenger

Connect your Facebook Page, so Dazza answers Messenger conversations as your business.

Dazza answers Messenger conversations with your Facebook Page, through your own Meta app. Only admins can connect it.

## What you’ll need

- **Page access token**
- **App ID**
- **App secret**

## Connect it

1. In Meta for Developers, add the Messenger product to your app.
2. Under Messenger → Messenger API settings, connect your Page and generate its access token.
3. In App settings → Basic, copy the app ID and app secret.
4. In Dazza, open **Channels**, choose Messenger and paste the three details.

Dazza checks them with Meta and sets up the webhook itself.

## If it says Waiting for the platform

If Meta won’t let Dazza set the webhook, the connection shows a **Callback URL** and a **Verify token**. Paste both into your Meta app under the Messenger product’s Configuration → Webhook. The status turns to *Connected* when Meta confirms.

## Reply windows

- Dazza can reply within 24 hours of the customer’s last message.
- A person on your team can reply for up to 7 days. Those replies are sent with Meta’s human agent tag.
