# Invite your team and set roles

Unlimited seats, admins and members, invitations, and who gets an email when a customer needs the team.

*3 min read · Updated 28 Oct 2026 · 4 sections*

Every plan includes unlimited team seats.

## Invite people

1. Go to **Settings → Team**.
2. Enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas, and choose **Member** or **Admin**.
3. Press **Invite**. Each person gets an email with a link that works for 7 days.

They open the link and sign in, or create an account with Google or an email and password. They join your workspace straight away. Someone who already has a Dazza account sees the invitation the next time they sign in.

Under **Invited, waiting to join**, press **Send again** to resend the email, or **Withdraw** to cancel it before it’s used.

## Roles

| Role | Can |
| --- | --- |
| Member | Work the inbox: take over, assign, reply, add notes, use and edit saved replies, approve or decline workflows, resolve. |
| Admin | Everything a member can, plus change the agent, knowledge, workflows and settings (including opening hours and sharing out handovers), correct answers and invite people. |

Admins can change someone’s role or remove them in **Settings → Team**. A workspace always keeps at least one admin.

## Your account

Everyone signs in individually, with Google or an email and password. Open **Manage account** from your name at the bottom of the sidebar.

**Profile** has your photo and name, your email address and your connected Google account:

- **Update profile** to upload a photo or change your name.
- **Change email address**: we send a code to the new address, and once you enter it, that’s the address you sign in with.
- **Connect Google** to sign in with Google too, or disconnect it once you have a password.

**Security** has your password, two-step verification, your devices and deleting your account:

- **Two-step verification** asks for a code from an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, each time you sign in. Scan the QR code, enter the code it shows, then save your 10 backup codes somewhere safe. Each backup code gets you in once if you lose your phone. You can make new ones at any time.
- **Active devices** shows each browser you’re signed in on, with roughly where it is. Sign out any of them, or all but this one.
- **Delete account** removes your account and signs you out everywhere. Your workspaces stay. If you’re a workspace’s only admin, make someone else an admin first.

Forgotten your password? On the sign-in page, enter your email and choose **Forgot password?** Dazza emails you a code to choose a new one.

You can belong to more than one workspace. Switch between them, or create a new one, from the workspace name at the top of the sidebar.

## Alerts

In **Settings → Notifications**, each person chooses whether to get an email when a customer needs the team, or when a conversation is assigned to them. It’s on by default. Admins can also post the same alerts to a Slack channel: see [Slack alerts](https://dazza.io/help/slack).

To share new handovers out in turn, and to mark yourself away, see [Assign conversations](https://dazza.io/help/assign-conversations).
