# Cookie policy

What dazza.io, the Dazza app and the chat on your website store in a browser, and why.

*Last updated 28 October 2026 · Early access version*

We keep this short, because we keep very little.

## dazza.io

This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and it doesn’t load anything from other companies: fonts and scripts are served from dazza.io.

The pricing page remembers two choices in your browser’s local storage, so they stay put when you come back:

| Name | What it remembers |
| --- | --- |
| `dazza:billing` | Monthly or yearly prices |
| `dazza:currency` | Pounds, dollars or euros |

## The Dazza app

When you sign in at app.dazza.io, Dazza sets cookies that keep you signed in securely. They’re strictly necessary, so they can’t be switched off.

| Name | What it’s for | How long |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `dz_session` | Keeps you signed in. It holds a random code, never your password | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| `dz_oauth` | Checks a sign-in with Google really came from you | 10 minutes |

## The chat on a business’s website

The chat doesn’t set cookies. It saves a few items in the visitor’s browser storage for app.dazza.io, so a conversation can pick up where it left off:

| Name | What it’s for |
| --- | --- |
| `dazza:visitor` | A random ID for the visitor, not linked to who they are |
| `dazza:` followed by the agent’s key | The visitor’s current conversation |

These are needed for the chat to work as the visitor expects. If you run Dazza on your website, mention them in your own cookie notice.
