# Sounds like you. On a good day.

The agent studio is where you shape your AI customer service agent. Name it, give it your tone and write the rules it always follows. Try every change in a live preview beside you, then publish when it’s right.

- **4**: Tones, warm to playful
- **3**: Reply lengths
- **Any**: Language your customers write in
- **v12**: Every publish, a new version

## Pick a tone. It sticks to it.

Tone and reply length apply to every answer, in chat and email. Facts stay exact whichever you pick.

### Warm

Of course. Let me sort that out for you.

*A helpful member of staff*

### Clear

Yes. Returns are free within 30 days.

*Leads with the answer*

### Formal

Certainly. I would be glad to help with your return.

*Polished, no slang*

### Playful

Good news: it’s easier than it sounds…

*Light, never about problems*

## Rules in plain English.

Write down what you’d tell a new starter: how to talk, what to ask, what to mention, and when to fetch you. Each rule can apply to chat, email or both.

- Tone, questions, content and handover rules
- Anything else, written your way
- Topics it politely declines

## Knows where the line is.

Choose what customers hear when a person takes over, and whether Dazza reminds them they can ask for one. Topics you’d rather it avoided get a polite no and a change of subject.

- Your own handover message
- Offer a person when someone seems stuck
- Never discuss: competitors, legal advice, anything

## Your colours. Your welcome.

Set the name at the top of the chat, the first thing visitors read and up to three questions to get them going. Brand and accent colours carry through the header, buttons and your messages.

- Name, welcome and suggested questions
- Brand and accent colours
- Left or right, with your own label
- Nudges above the chat button, on the pages you choose

[See the chat widget](https://dazza.io/channels/web-chat)

## Remembers. Checks. Tests.

Dazza recognises customers who come back, checks its own figures before anyone relies on them, and lets you prove a change works on real customers before everyone gets it.

- Remembers returning customers, privately
- Double-checks facts before answering
- A/B test changes on real customers
- Quick replies to tap, and a card for each page it cites
- A weekly report by email, every Monday

## Change anything. Break nothing.

Customers only ever meet the published version. Your edits wait in a draft until you’re ready.

### Edit the draft

Every setting saves to a draft. Customers keep talking to the live version.

### Try it beside you

The preview uses your draft, so you hear each change before anyone else does.

### Publish a version

Publishing makes a numbered version live straight away, with who did it.

### Pause if you need to

One switch hides the chat everywhere. Turn it back on when you’re ready.

## Agent studio, explained.

More in the [help centre](https://dazza.io/help/agent-studio).

### Can it speak other languages?

Yes. Dazza replies in the language the customer writes in, using your knowledge, even when your site is only in English.

### Do changes go live straight away?

No. Edits save to a draft that you can try in the preview. Customers only see changes when you publish.

### Can I go back to an earlier version?

Every publish is kept as a numbered version with who published it and when. To go back, change the draft and publish again.

### Can I try a change on real customers first?

Yes, on Growth and above. Test on customers splits new conversations between your draft and the live version, 50/50, 80/20 or 90/10, and compares how many each handled without your team, handovers, ratings and answer quality, with a plain verdict such as “Too early to tell”. Publish the winner in one click, or stop the test. See [A/B tests](https://dazza.io/help/ab-tests).

### Does it remember customers?

Customers it can recognise, yes: signed-in and verified customers, and people on WhatsApp, SMS, email and other apps. It keeps a short private note on their earlier conversations, and only mentions what’s in it once they’ve verified. Anonymous website visitors are never remembered. See [Remembering returning customers](https://dazza.io/help/returning-customers).

### Does tone change the facts?

Never. Tone and length shape how Dazza writes. What it says still comes only from your knowledge.

### Which AI model writes the replies?

Claude Sonnet 5.5 by default. Choose Haiku 5.5 for speed or, on Scale, Opus 5.5 for complex products and policies. On Growth and above you can use your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, or any OpenAI-compatible provider, such as Groq, Together, OpenRouter or Mistral, or your own server.

### Can I have more than one agent?

One agent per workspace today. Several agents and brands on Scale is coming soon.
