Terms of service
The agreement between your business and us when you use Dazza. In plain English.
These terms are an agreement between you, the business using Dazza, and Wall & Fifth (“we”, “us”), the studio that makes it. By creating an account, you agree to them on behalf of your business.
Early access
Dazza is in early access. We’re adding to it all the time: features may change, and anything marked “Soon” isn’t available yet. We’ll tell you about changes that affect how you use Dazza.
Your account
- Give us accurate details, and keep them up to date.
- You’re responsible for everyone you invite to your workspace, and for keeping sign-ins secure.
- You must be at least 18 and using Dazza for a business.
Your content
You own everything you put into Dazza and the conversations it has for you. You give us permission to use it only to provide Dazza to you, including passing it to the providers that run Dazza for us.
You’re responsible for having the right to use the content you add, and for telling your customers how their information is used, for example in your own privacy notice. When Dazza handles your customers’ personal information, we do so on your behalf, under our data processing agreement, which is part of these terms.
AI answers
Dazza writes replies with AI, from your knowledge and within the rules you set. AI can make mistakes. You’re responsible for the knowledge you give Dazza, how you set up its rules and workflows, and decisions made through workflows you configure. Where accuracy matters, use Draft mode for email, customer confirmation and team approval.
Fair use
Don’t use Dazza to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- send spam or marketing to people who haven’t asked for it;
- ask customers for passwords or full payment card numbers in a conversation;
- give medical, legal or financial advice that people rely on without a qualified person involved;
- mislead people about who they’re talking to;
- attack, overload or probe Dazza, or copy or reverse engineer it.
Plans, trial and payment
- Start for free with 14 days and 100 conversations. No card needed.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. Extra conversations are billed monthly, after they happen, at your plan’s rate. Prices exclude VAT and sales tax.
- We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, which applies from your next billing period.
- Upgrades start straight away. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period. We don’t refund part periods unless the law requires it.
Powered by Dazza
A small “Powered by Dazza” link appears under the chat on every plan. Please don’t hide or remove it.
Ending
You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, doesn’t pay, or puts Dazza or others at risk, with notice where we reasonably can. After your account closes, you can ask us for a copy of your data within 30 days. We then delete it as set out in our privacy policy.
Our responsibility to you
We provide Dazza with reasonable care and skill. During early access it’s provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
We aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in those 12 months, or £100 if you haven’t paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before the change applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute.
