Get Dazza live in an afternoon
From your web address to a live agent on your site, with your support email forwarded.
Setup is guided from your web address. Dazza does most of the reading and testing while you watch, and you only make the decisions.
1. Give Dazza your website
Sign up, then enter your website. Dazza finds your sitemap and starts reading. The first pages are read straight away so it can work out what kind of business you are; the rest carry on in the background while you continue.
Pages that don’t help customers, like baskets, checkouts and logins, are skipped.
2. Check what Dazza learned
Dazza writes a short summary of your business and suggests a few workflows that fit, such as Book an appointment for a salon or Start a return for a store. Switch on the ones you want. You can change everything later.
3. Test the answers
Dazza asks itself eight questions a real visitor would type and shows how it did: answered, handed over, or no answer.
For each gap, add the answer in a sentence or switch on a workflow that fits. Questions it couldn’t answer are asked again as more of your site is read.
4. Publish
Press Publish. That makes the first version of your agent live. Until then, only your preview can talk to it.
5. Put it on your site
Copy the line of code from setup and paste it before </body> on every page. See Add the chat to your website for where it goes on Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow and Wix.
Setup shows a tick as soon as the chat is seen on your site.
6. Check a handover reaches you
Open your site, start a chat and ask for a person. You should get an email, and the conversation appears in your inbox. If it doesn’t, check Settings → Notifications.
Then, when you’re ready
- Forward your support email so Dazza can draft or send replies.
- Reply from your own address instead of your Dazza address.
- Invite your team so everyone can work the inbox.
