What’s new.
As it ships.

Everything we’ve added to Dazza, newest first. Each release is included in the plans it’s listed for, at no extra cost.

NEWIMPROVED

Smarter workflows

Dazza finds workflows in your real chats and builds them in one click. Try every workflow in a live chat beside it, check each path with test customers, and change it by saying what you want.

  • From your chats. Dazza reads your recent conversations and spots the requests it keeps handing to your team. Each idea shows how many chats asked for it and what customers said. Build it drafts the workflow from those chats.
  • Try it, right there. Every workflow has a live chat beside it, with messages to tap that sound like your customers.
  • Check it. Dazza plays a customer down every path, plus one who shouldn’t start the workflow, and shows what passed, what it collected and the whole chat.
  • Change it by saying so. Type “also ask for their timeline” or “budgets over £50k go to a person”. Dazza changes the workflow and shows what changed. Nothing is saved until you save, and Undo puts it back.
  • How each one’s doing. The list shows runs in the last 30 days, how they ended, and one warning when something needs you: failures, runs waiting on you, or a workflow nobody uses.
  • Go live in one click from the editor.

End chat, who's online, and a calmer chat

End a chat in one click, see when a customer is on your site right now, and reply from a clearer inbox. Your website's chat has a new, flatter look.

  • End chat. Website conversations have an End chat button. The customer sees that you ended it and is asked how it went, and the conversation is resolved. Send and end chat sends your last reply and ends it in one go. If the customer writes again, it reopens.
  • On your site now. The inbox shows a green dot and “On your site now” while a customer has your website open, and “Left the site” with the time once they’ve gone. The reply box tells you whether they’ll see your reply straight away.
  • Who said what, at a glance. In the inbox, the customer is on the left in grey. Dazza’s replies are on the right in white, your team’s in black, and notes in yellow with a lock. Joins and hand-offs are quiet lines between messages.
  • A clearer reply box. Reply and Note sit side by side, with Draft, Rewrite, Translate and Saved replies beside them. Send is one clear button, with the keyboard shortcut next to it.
  • The greeting card asks for you. The card beside the chat button shows your welcome line and your suggested questions. Tapping a question opens the chat and asks it.
  • A new look for your website’s chat. The button carries the Dazza mark. The chat has a plain header, rounded messages, outlined suggestions and a softer reply box. Dark websites get warm dark tones.
  • The team’s in the header. When someone from your team joins, the chat’s header shows them instead of Dazza. Once a customer has written to the team, a line under their message says it was sent and that the reply will come here.
NEWIMPROVED

A new chat for your website

Your website’s chat opens straight onto your AI assistant, with Home and Help tabs beside it. It matches dark websites automatically and shows team replies on the chat button.

  • A greeting card on your website. Beside the chat button, a card in your colours says “Questions? Chat with us.”, shows your team’s faces and has Chat and Search buttons (Search appears when you have help articles). It folds into the round button once a visitor opens the chat or hides it. To show only the button, add data-launcher="compact" to the script tag.
  • Straight into the conversation. The chat opens on your AI assistant, with your logo, your business name and your team’s faces. Your welcome message and suggested questions come next, so customers can ask with one tap.
  • Chat, Home and Help tabs. Home has your logo, your team, a greeting, a box to ask a question and your help articles. Help lists every article in your help centre, with search. If nothing matches, customers can ask Dazza instead. Your most popular articles also show in the chat before the first question.
  • Dark mode that matches your site. On a dark website the chat turns dark by itself, and a very dark brand colour hands over to your accent colour so nothing disappears. To choose, add data-theme="light" or data-theme="dark" to the script tag.
  • Replies on the chat button. If your team replies while the chat is closed, the button shows a count and a preview of the reply.
  • A cleaner look. The chat has a white background, soft grey messages from Dazza and a rounded reply box. The button turns into a cross when the chat is open, and the chat grows out of it.
  • Insights and Inbox know it’s installed. Once the chat has been seen on your website, they say where it is instead of asking you to install it.

Dazza’s own sign-in

A faster sign-in built into Dazza, with Google or an email and password, two-step verification, invitations that work in one click, and a new account page.

  • Sign in with Google or a password. Sign-in now runs inside Dazza itself. New email addresses are confirmed with a six-digit code, and Forgot password? emails a code to choose a new one.
  • Invitations in one click. Invite several people at once from Settings → Team. They open the link, sign in or create an account, and they’re in. Send an invitation again or withdraw it while it’s waiting. See Invite your team and set roles.
  • Two-step verification. Add an authenticator app in Manage account → Security, and keep 10 backup codes in case you lose your phone.
  • A new account page. Upload a photo, change your name or email address, connect Google, and see each device you’re signed in on with roughly where it is. Sign out any of them, or delete your account.
  • Several workspaces. Switch between workspaces, or make a new one, from the top of the sidebar.
  • Already using Dazza? Your workspaces and team are just as they were. Sign in with Google, or enter your email and choose Email me a code to set a password.
NEW

Remembers customers, checks its facts, and A/B tests

Dazza welcomes back customers it recognises, double-checks figures before anyone relies on them, lets you test a change on real customers, and sends a weekly report.

  • Remembers returning customers. For signed-in and verified customers, and people on WhatsApp, SMS, email and other apps, Dazza keeps a short private note on their earlier conversations, so it can welcome them back and not ask again for what it knows. It only mentions what’s in the note once they’ve verified, and never remembers anonymous website visitors. On every plan. See Remembering returning customers.
  • Double-checks facts. Replies with figures, prices, dates or policies are checked against the pages they came from while they’re written. A mistake is corrected in the same turn, and anything your knowledge doesn’t cover is marked Needs checking in the inbox. On by default on Growth and above. See Double-checking facts.
  • A/B test changes on real customers. In Agent, Test on customers splits new conversations between your draft and the live version, compares how many each handled without your team, handovers, ratings and answer quality, and says in plain words which looks better. Publish the winner in one click. On Growth and above. See A/B tests.
  • Quick replies and link cards. When Dazza asks a question with a few likely answers, customers can tap one; on WhatsApp and other apps they’re a numbered list. Pages Dazza cites show as cards. On every plan. See Quick replies and link cards.
  • Weekly report. Every Monday morning Dazza emails your team its week: what customers asked most, what it handled, questions it couldn’t answer with answers to approve, ratings and one thing to do. On for admins, and anyone can turn it on or off. On every plan. See The weekly report.
NEW

Dazza answers the phone

Connect a Twilio number and Dazza answers calls with the same agent, knowledge and workflows, puts callers through to your team, and takes a message when you’re closed.

  • Phone calls. In Channels → Phone calls, paste your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token and pick a number. Dazza sets up the number’s calls itself. Callers hear your greeting in the voice you choose (there are seven), in one of ten languages or the caller’s own. Dazza answers in short spoken sentences, reads details back, and lets callers talk over it. On Growth and above. See Answer phone calls.
  • Put through, or a message. When a caller needs a person, Dazza transfers the call to your team’s number while you’re open, with a short note of who’s calling for whoever answers. When you’re closed, or nobody picks up, it takes their name and number, reads them back and leaves the message in the inbox.
  • Workflows by voice. Where the chat has a Confirm button, Dazza asks “Shall I go ahead?” and the caller says yes or no, or presses 1 or 2. Account-specific workflows wait until the caller confirms their email with a code.
  • Calls in the inbox and Insights. Each call is a conversation with a live transcript, its length, how it ended and a summary. Insights shows calls by how they ended, with the minutes in all.
NEW

Photos and PDFs, chat ratings and nudges

Customers can show you the problem with a photo or a PDF, rate the chat when it ends, and be greeted with a nudge on the pages you choose.

  • Photos and PDFs from customers. In the website chat and the chat link, customers attach, paste or drop photos and PDFs, up to 3 a message and 4 MB each. Photos and PDFs sent by email or on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, LINE, Viber and SMS are kept too. Dazza looks at them before it answers, and your team sees them in the inbox. On every plan. See Photos and PDFs from customers.
  • Customer ratings. When a chat on your website or in your app ends, Dazza asks “How was this chat?”: Good, Okay or Poor, with an optional comment. Ratings show in the inbox, where you can filter by them, and Insights shows the share rated Good. The thumbs on each answer stay as they are. On every plan. See Customer ratings.
  • Nudges. In Agent → Nudges, write a short message to show above the chat button, choose the pages it appears on and how long to wait, and whether it shows on every visit or only the first. Clicking it opens the chat with your message as Dazza’s first line. Nudges go live when you publish. On every plan. See Nudges on your website.
NEW

Shopify, Slack alerts, event webhooks and the REST API

Shopify is built into Connections, alerts can go to a Slack channel, and your own systems can hear about conversations as they happen or work with them through an API.

  • Shopify, built in. Connect your shop in Connections with your own Shopify app, with no Zapier or MCP server in between. Dazza looks up and tracks orders, with the carrier, tracking number and link, lists a verified customer’s recent orders and checks stock. If you allow it, it cancels an order that hasn’t been sent or changes where it’s going, once the customer confirms. Order details only go to the customer whose email matches the order: to look one up, they give the order number and the email they ordered with. On Growth and above. See Connect Shopify.
  • Slack alerts. Paste a Slack incoming webhook in Settings → Notifications and Dazza posts handovers, approvals, requests and emails waiting for a reply to that channel, each with a link to the conversation. Dazza sends a test before it saves the address. On every plan. See Slack alerts.
  • Event webhooks. Add up to 10 endpoints in Settings → Developers and choose their events: a conversation created, handed over or resolved, a message or a contact created, and a rating created or updated. Every request is signed, failed ones are tried again for about two days, and each endpoint has a delivery log. On Growth and above. See Event webhooks.
  • REST API. Create keys in Settings → Developers to list conversations and contacts, reply as your team on any channel, resolve conversations and add Q&As to knowledge. On Growth and above. See the REST API.
IMPROVED

Answers that find the right page

Dazza now understands the question before it searches, so different words, follow-ups and other languages still find the right answer.

  • Before searching your knowledge, Dazza turns the customer’s messages into search terms: it follows up on “what about Ireland?”, adds the words your site might use instead (shipping or delivery, refund or return) and searches in your knowledge’s language too.
  • Smaller knowledge bases, up to about 48,000 characters, are read in full on every question.
  • Replies cost less and start faster in longer conversations.
  • The agent answers every question in a message, greets only once and uses your own handover message.
  • Test a question in Knowledge uses the same search, so you see exactly what Dazza would read.
NEW

Contacts, data rights, suggested answers and quality scores

See everyone Dazza has talked to, handle a customer’s request for their data in a click, and let Dazza learn from your team’s replies.

  • Contacts lists everyone who has talked to Dazza on any channel, with their conversations.
  • Export a customer’s data as a file, or erase it for good, from their contact page. Choose to keep conversations for 3, 6, 12 or 24 months, and Dazza clears out the rest every day.
  • Suggested answers in Knowledge: when your team answers a question Dazza handed over, Dazza drafts it as a Q&A for next time. Questions it couldn’t answer are grouped so you write each one once. Nothing is used until you add it.
  • Quality score: every conversation gets a score from 1 to 5 with a reason, and a note of whether the customer got what they needed. Insights shows the average and the lowest scores to start with.
  • Audit log in Settings shows who changed what, in plain words, and what Dazza did on its own.
  • A data processing agreement now applies on every plan.
NEW

Assignments, saved replies and opening hours

Every conversation can have an owner, your team’s common answers are one keystroke away, and customers hear when you’re back.

  • Assign any open conversation to a teammate from its header, or turn on Share new handovers out in turn so each one goes to the next person who isn’t away.
  • Saved replies are shared across the team. Type / in the reply box to drop one in, with the customer’s name already filled in.
  • Opening hours, closed dates and your usual reply time live in Settings. Outside them, Dazza tells customers when the team is back, and it answers “are you open?” on its own.
  • Translate a customer’s message into your team’s language with one click, or turn on Translate automatically.
  • Half-written replies now stay with their own conversation, and the details panel opens on smaller screens too.
NEW

Dazza in your app

Add the same agent to your iOS, Android, React Native or Flutter app, with the same knowledge and the same inbox.

  • SDKs for React Native and Expo, iOS, Android and Flutter.
  • Settings → Install → In your app shows each snippet with your agent’s key.
  • Team replies reach the app, and conversations are kept on the device between launches.
  • Signed-in customers use the same signed login as your website chat.
  • An event fires for each new reply while the chat is open, for an unread badge.
NEW

See a workflow as a canvas

Switch any workflow between Form and Canvas to see it as one flow, from what the customer wants to what happens.

  • The canvas shows the details Dazza collects, the checks before it runs, and each decision with its outcome.
  • Drag details and decisions to reorder them. Decisions are checked top to bottom, and the first match decides.
  • Select any step to edit it in the panel beside the canvas.
  • Your browser remembers which view you chose.
  • It’s the same workflow either way.
NEWIMPROVED

Saved tests, on your draft and live

Keep a suite of up to 100 tests, including customers with a goal, and run it on your draft and your live agent side by side.

  • A question tests one message. A customer with a goal plays out a scenario over up to four messages.
  • Say what a good answer includes and what should happen: answer it, hand over, or use a workflow or tool.
  • Each result is Pass or Fail with a one-line reason, the transcript and the sources.
  • Tests that differ between draft and live are highlighted, so you can check them before you publish.
  • Suggest tests fills the suite from setup, unanswered questions and your knowledge.
  • Nothing runs for real: no conversation is created and no workflow or tool runs.
NEWIMPROVED

Knowledge that keeps itself up to date

Dazza now re-reads your web pages daily or weekly, and imports your help centre, adding new articles as they appear.

  • Keep up to date in Knowledge: Daily, Weekly (the default) or Off.
  • Sites and help centres imported whole are re-checked for new pages.
  • Answers keep working while pages are re-read, and a passing error keeps the last good copy.
  • A page that’s gone stops being used and shows as Failed.
  • A new Help centre tab for Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Crisp, Help Scout, Document360 or any help site with a sitemap.
  • Refresh everything now starts a re-read straight away.
NEW

Topics, sentiment and every channel in Insights

Dazza now labels each conversation with its topics, how the customer felt and their language, and Insights covers every channel.

  • Labels arrive a minute after a conversation goes quiet, and are updated after new messages.
  • One to three topics from your workspace’s list, adding at most one new topic when nothing fits.
  • Topic badges, an Unhappy badge and a topic filter in the inbox.
  • Insights covers every channel, or one at a time with the channel filter.
  • New in Insights: Topics, How customers felt and By channel. Each topic links to the inbox, filtered by that topic.
NEW

A copilot for your team

Once you take over a conversation, the copilot drafts, rewrites and translates your reply, and summarises the thread. You always press Send.

  • Draft a reply writes from the conversation and your knowledge, in your agent’s tone and the customer’s language.
  • Rewrite fixes spelling and grammar, or makes a reply friendlier, more formal, shorter or a little longer.
  • Translate puts your reply into the customer’s language, and Undo takes it back.
  • Summarise gives the thread in 2–4 lines, and Add as a note saves it for the team.
  • The copilot never sends anything itself.
NEW

Choose the AI model

Pick the model that writes Dazza’s replies, from the included Claude models to your own Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenAI-compatible key.

  • Included Claude: Claude Sonnet 5.5 by default, Claude Opus 5.5 or Claude Haiku 5.5.
  • Your own key: Anthropic, OpenAI, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint for Llama, Mistral or your own server.
  • With your own key, the provider bills you directly, under your agreement with them.
  • If the model stops working, Dazza hands customers to your team instead of guessing.
  • Check the saved model sends one message with no customer data and shows the reply time.
  • Workflows and MCP tools work with every option.
NEW

Connect your own tools over MCP

Give Dazza live access to your own systems through the Model Context Protocol, with quick starts for Stripe, Zapier, n8n and Make.

  • Any MCP server over HTTPS, with no authentication, a bearer token or a custom header.
  • Every tool starts Off. Set it to Test to try it, or Live for customers.
  • Each tool says whether it looks things up or changes things, with its runs and failures over the last 30 days.
  • Per tool: Customer confirms first, Only for verified customers and Team approves first. Tools that change things start with confirmation and verification on.
  • Lookups happen behind the scenes. The customer sees the answer, and your team sees a note.
  • Up to 20 servers per workspace.
NEW

WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and more

Connect WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, SMS, LINE and Viber in Channels, and Dazza answers there as your business.

  • Each app uses your own account, so customers see your business, not Dazza.
  • Dazza checks your details with the platform and sets up the webhook itself.
  • Team replies from the inbox go out on the same app, with Sent, Delivered and Read on each one.
  • Quick bursts of messages are answered together. Photos, voice notes and files are noted for your team.
  • Each platform’s own rules are followed, such as WhatsApp’s 24-hour reply window.
  • Turn off Dazza replies on a connection and its messages wait for your team.
NEWIMPROVED

Correct an answer, right where it went wrong

Fix one of Dazza’s answers from the inbox or the preview. Your correction becomes knowledge, and your own answers now win over your website.

  • Correct this answer sits under Dazza’s replies in the inbox for admins, and Correct this under replies in the preview.
  • Each correction is saved as your own question and answer, used from the next message on.
  • Anything you write in Dazza, a Q&A, pasted text or a correction, now outranks a web page or file that says otherwise. Dazza uses your figure, cites it and leaves the other out.
IMPROVED

Whole websites, read in the background

Dazza now reads up to 1,000 pages from your sitemap, carrying on in the background while you set up.

  • The first pages are read straight away so setup can work out your business; the rest follow in the background.
  • Big sites with nested sitemaps are followed properly.
  • Baskets, checkouts, logins, feeds and tag pages are skipped.
  • Test questions Dazza couldn’t answer are asked again as more pages are read.
IMPROVED

A calmer agent studio, with a live preview

The agent studio is rebuilt around a live preview of your draft, with proper controls for tone, reply length, colours and suggested questions.

  • Tone and reply length are picked from examples, so you can hear the difference.
  • Colours come from a palette or any colour you like.
  • Suggested questions, rules and fields grow as you type.
  • Unsaved changes are always clear, and saving a draft is one click away.
NEW

Verified customers

Workflows that touch a customer’s own account can now require proof of who they are, by email code, your site’s signed login, or a trusted sender.

  • Email codes: Dazza sends a six-digit code in the chat. Codes expire after 10 minutes and are rate-limited.
  • Signed logins: customers signed in to your site can be vouched for by your server with an HS256 token, on the script tag or with Dazza.identify().
  • Trusted senders: email whose domain passes DMARC counts as verified.
  • Verified identity is passed to your system with each request. An email typed into the chat is never treated as proof.
NEW

Know when an email reply doesn’t arrive

Every email reply is now tracked. Bounces, spam reports and failures come back to your team with a note saying what happened.

  • Each reply shows whether it was delivered, bounced, marked as spam or failed.
  • A reply that doesn’t arrive flags the conversation for your team.
  • Settings → Email shows the last 30 days at a glance.
NEW

Reply from your own address

Add a few DNS records and Dazza’s email replies come from your own support address, threaded under the customer’s email.

  • DKIM, SPF and an ownership record to copy, checked automatically until they’re in.
  • Until the address is verified, replies come from your Dazza address, so nothing waits.
  • If something changes later, Dazza falls back safely and checks again.
IMPROVED

Cleaner emails in, fewer surprises out

Dazza now reads only the new part of an email, leaving out Gmail, Outlook and Apple signatures and quoted earlier messages.

  • Out-of-office replies, bounces and bulk mail are noted and left alone.
  • Mail from your own address or Dazza’s is never answered, so there are no loops.
NEW

The email agent

Forward your support address to Dazza. It drafts or sends replies in the same thread, and hands over to your team when it should.

  • Every workspace gets its own Dazza address to forward mail to.
  • Three modes: Observe drafts privately, Draft waits for a person to send, Auto replies by itself.
  • A daily sending limit, past which replies wait as drafts.
  • Email conversations sit in the same inbox as chat, with the same knowledge and rules.
NEW

Decisions, approvals and workflows from a sentence

Workflows can now branch on the details a customer gives, wait for your team’s approval, and be drafted from a plain-English description.

  • Decisions: “if the refund is more than £100, the team approves”. Checked by the system, not the AI.
  • Team approval: requests wait in the inbox for someone to approve or decline.
  • Describe a workflow: write what should happen and Dazza drafts the details, decisions and outcome for you to check.
  • Guidance rules in the agent studio: tone, questions to ask, what to say and when to hand over, for chat, email or both.
NEW

Guided setup from your website

Enter your web address and Dazza reads your site, works out your business, suggests workflows and tests itself on the questions visitors ask.

  • Eight test questions, written the way real visitors ask, answered before you go live.
  • For each gap, add an answer or switch on the workflow that fits.
  • Email alerts to your team when a customer needs a person, with a check that they arrive.
NEW

Workflows that get things done

Dazza can now collect the details for a request and act on them: send it to your team, share a link, or call your own system.

  • Ready-made workflows for stores, service businesses, software teams, agencies and distributors.
  • The customer confirms the details before anything is sent.
  • Every run is recorded in the conversation with its result.
NEW

Dazza, in early access

The first release: an AI agent that answers from your knowledge, a chat widget for your site, a shared inbox for handovers, and insights.

  • Knowledge from your website, Q&As, pasted text and files, with sources on every answer.
  • The chat widget, a hosted chat page and replies in the customer’s language.
  • Handover to a shared inbox with a summary, and take over at any time.
  • Insights on conversations, handovers, ratings and the questions Dazza couldn’t answer.
