Which pages does Dazza read? +
The pages in your sitemap, or the pages your homepage links to if you don’t have one. It skips pages that don’t help customers, like baskets, checkouts and logins. You can see every page it read, and remove any of them.
How many pages can it read? +
Up to 250 on Starter, 1,000 on Growth and 5,000 on Scale. The first pages are read while you set up, and the rest carry on in the background.
Which files can I add? +
PDF, Word (.docx), plain text, Markdown, CSV and HTML. You can also paste text in, or write questions and answers yourself.
Can it read our Notion, Google Docs or Confluence? +
Yes, on Growth and above. Connect Notion, Google Drive or Confluence, then pick pages, databases, folders or spaces. Dazza reads headings, lists, tables, toggles and callouts, every tab of a Sheet, and Slides, PDFs and Word files. It checks for edits on your schedule and only re-reads what changed; pages you delete or stop sharing stop being used. Each answer links back to the original page.
What if my website and my answers disagree? +
Your answers win. Anything you write in Dazza, whether a Q&A, pasted text or a correction, and the Notion, Google Drive and Confluence pages you connect, is treated as current, and Dazza uses it over a web page that says something else.
What happens when my website changes? +
Dazza checks your site and help centre daily or weekly, your choice. Changed pages are read again, new ones are added, and pages that have gone are flagged for you. You can also refresh everything now, and Q&As and corrections take effect straight away.
Can it read our help centre? +
Yes. Give it your help centre’s address and Dazza imports every article. Zendesk help centres are read through their own API, and others through their sitemap.
Is my knowledge used for anyone else? +
No. It stays in your workspace and only answers your customers. Nothing is shared between businesses, and our AI provider isn’t allowed to train on your content. If you use your own model provider, its terms apply.
