Back-in-stock request
template.
The Back-in-stock request template is a ready-made Dazza workflow for customers who want something that’s sold out. Dazza collects email and product, then sends the request to your team’s inbox. Every detail, check and message can be changed.
The questions
it answers.
Dazza uses it when the customer wants something that’s out of stock and would like to know when it’s back. You can change that sentence, and Dazza follows the new one.
“When will the oat jumper be back?”
“Can you tell me when it’s in stock?”
“Is the medium coming back?”
“Can I pre-order this?”
What it asks for.
Nothing more.
Dazza asks only for what’s missing, never for what it’s already been told, and checks emails, numbers and dates as it goes. Add, remove or reorder details, up to 10.

Send to your team
The request lands in the Team queue of your inbox with every detail, and your team gets an email.

The checks,
out of the box.
Every check runs in code before the workflow does, so none of them rely on the AI behaving. Change any of them per workflow.
| Check | As it comes |
|---|---|
| Customer confirms first | Off. It runs as soon as the details are complete. |
| Customer verifies their email first | Off. Turn it on for anything about a customer’s own account (Growth and above). |
| Team approves before it goes ahead | Off. Turn it on to have your team approve or decline each one in the inbox (Growth and above). |
| Starts in | Test, so it only runs in your preview until you set it to Live. |
| Email and messaging apps | Used as it comes, since it needs no button. |
| Plan | Every plan. Starter includes 3 workflows. |
Who it suits.
How to adapt it.
The groups are a guide, not a rule. Any business can use any template, renamed to fit.
Who it suits
- Online stores
- Makers who sell in small batches
- Wholesalers with waiting lists
Tips for adapting it
- Add a Size or Colour detail so you know exactly which variant they want.
- If you know restock dates, add them to your knowledge, so Dazza answers “when will it be back?” as well as taking the request.
- It doesn’t ask the customer to confirm, so Dazza can use it on email and messaging apps too.
Does Dazza email the customer when it’s back?
No. Your team or your store does. The request gives you the email and the product.
Why doesn’t it ask the customer to confirm?
It only notes an email and a product, so there’s nothing to undo. That also lets Dazza use it on email and messaging apps, which have no Confirm button.
Can the requests go to a spreadsheet?
Yes. Switch it to Call your system (Scale and above) with a Zapier, Make or n8n webhook that adds a row.
