Request a quote
template.

The Request a quote template is a ready-made Dazza workflow for quote requests with everything you need to price the job. Dazza collects name, email and the job, plus phone and postcode if the customer gives them, asks the customer to confirm, then sends the request to your team’s inbox. Every detail, check and message can be changed.

The questions
it answers.

Dazza uses it when the customer wants a price or quote for a job. You can change that sentence, and Dazza follows the new one.

01

“How much would it cost to fit a new boiler?”

02

“Can I get a quote?”

03

“Roughly what would you charge for a deep clean?”

04

“Do you do free estimates?”

What it asks for.
Nothing more.

Dazza asks only for what’s missing, never for what it’s already been told, and checks emails, numbers and dates as it goes. Add, remove or reorder details, up to 10.

Who it suits.
How to adapt it.

The groups are a guide, not a rule. Any business can use any template, renamed to fit.

Who it suits

  • Trades, cleaners and removals
  • Printers, caterers and makers
  • Firms with fixed fees

Tips for adapting it

  1. Make Postcode required if you only cover some areas, and list your areas in your knowledge.
  2. Add Choice details for whatever sets the price, such as the size of the property.
  3. Add a decision: if The job mentions “emergency”, hand over to a person straight away.
  4. Ask customers to send a photo of the job in the chat. Dazza looks at it, and your team sees it in the conversation with the request.

Step by step in Create a workflow.

Will Dazza give prices?

Only the prices on your site or in your answers. Anything else becomes a quote request for your team to price.

Can customers send photos?

Yes. Customers attach photos and PDFs in the chat, or send them by email and on messaging apps. Dazza looks at them before it answers, and your team sees them in the conversation. See Photos and PDFs from customers.

Where does the request go?

To the Team queue in your inbox, with an email alert. The customer is told you’ll send the quote by email.
