Connect your support email
Forward your support address to Dazza, then choose whether it observes, drafts or replies by itself.
Dazza works with the email address your customers already use. You forward mail to Dazza; customers notice nothing.
Your Dazza address
Every workspace has its own address, shown in Settings → Email. It’s based on your business name, for example hollis@dazza.io.
Forward your support address
| Where your email is | What to do |
|---|---|
| Gmail | Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → Add a forwarding address. Google sends a confirmation code, which shows under Recently received in Settings → Email. |
| Outlook or Microsoft 365 | Settings → Mail → Forwarding → Enable forwarding. Your admin may need to allow forwarding outside your organisation. |
| Google group or alias | Add your Dazza address as a member of the group. |
| Anything else | Set up a rule that forwards new mail to your Dazza address. |
When the first email arrives, Settings → Email shows Receiving.
Choose a mode
| Mode | What happens |
|---|---|
| Observe | Dazza drafts privately so you can see what it would say. Nothing is sent. |
| Draft | Dazza drafts every reply. A person sends it from the inbox, as it is or edited. |
| Auto | Dazza replies by itself and hands over to the team when it should. |
Most teams start with Draft and move to Auto once they trust the replies.
Set a daily limit
The daily limit is the most emails Dazza sends by itself in 24 hours. Past it, replies wait as drafts for your team.
What Dazza leaves alone
Out-of-office replies, bounces and bulk or list mail are noted in the conversation and not answered. Signatures and quoted earlier messages are left out, so Dazza reads only what’s new.
Mail from your own address or Dazza’s is never answered, so replies can’t loop.
Next
Reply from your own address, so replies come from support@yourbusiness.com.
