Snooze conversations

Put a conversation out of the queues until later today, tomorrow morning, next week or a time you pick. It comes back sooner if the customer writes.

Snooze a conversation when there’s nothing to do until later: you’re waiting on a supplier, a colleague, or a date. It leaves Team and Mine and waits in Snoozed until it’s due back.

Snooze one

Open the conversation and press the clock button in its header (or press S on a computer). Pick:

  • Later today — three hours from now, when your team is still in.
  • Tomorrow morning — when your team next opens. On a Friday that’s Monday morning.
  • Next week — Monday, when your team opens.
  • Pick a date and time — any time up to a year ahead.

Times are in your workspace’s time zone. If you’ve set opening hours, the choices land when your team is in, so nothing comes back at 3am. Without opening hours, mornings start at 9am.

When it comes back

A snoozed conversation comes back:

  • at the time you picked, or
  • straight away if the customer writes in the meantime.

Either way it returns to its queue with a Back from snooze marker, and a line in the conversation says why. The marker clears once someone replies, resolves it or snoozes it again.

See what’s snoozed

The Snoozed queue lists everything snoozed, soonest back first, with when each one is due back. Open one to see who snoozed it. Press Unsnooze to bring it back now.

Resolving a conversation, or returning it to Dazza, ends its snooze.

Snooze several at once

Select conversations in the list, then press Snooze in the bar above them. See Search, filters and export.

Good to know

  • Reply targets keep counting while a conversation is snoozed. If the customer is waiting, reply before you snooze. See Reply targets.
  • Customers aren’t told a conversation is snoozed.
