Connect Instagram

Dazza answers Instagram messages through the Instagram API with Instagram Login. It works with professional accounts. Only admins can connect it.

What you’ll need

• Instagram access token
• App ID
• App secret
• Instagram app secret, which is optional

Connect it

1. In Meta for Developers, add the Instagram product to your app and choose API setup with Instagram login.
2. Add your professional account and generate its token.
3. In App settings → Basic, copy the app ID and app secret.
4. In the Instagram app, allow access to messages: Settings → Messages and story replies → Connected tools.
5. In Dazza, open Channels, choose Instagram and paste the details.

Dazza checks them with Meta and sets up the webhook itself.

If it says Waiting for the platform

If Meta won’t let Dazza set the webhook, the connection shows a Callback URL and a Verify token. Paste both into your Meta app under the Instagram product’s Configuration → Webhook. The status turns to Connected when Meta confirms.

Reply windows

• Dazza can reply within 24 hours of the customer’s last message.
• A person on your team can reply for up to 7 days. Those replies are sent with Meta’s human agent tag.
